Wall Heath show goes glam for a good cause

8:30am Wednesday 22nd February 2012

A WALL Heath venue is set to play host to a glamorous event to raise cash for a good cause.

The Kingfisher Country Club on Kidderminster Road will be holding a Prom Fair to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The event, on Sunday February 26, will feature a cat walk fashion show plus jewellery, make-up and hair styling stalls and a raffle with prestigious prizes.

Organiser Natalie Neale is putting on the event in memory of a colleague who died aged 29 after suffering from breast cancer.

Natalie Neale said: "It is for a cause which is close to my heart and going to be a fun event.

"There will be plenty of information available about breast cancer, a lot of younger women don't check for cancer but it is an issue they need to be aware of."

The fair will be open from 11am to 4pm with catwalk shows of prom dresses at noon and 2pm, entrance will cost £1.

For more information call Natalie on 07896 673287.
